We are looking for an experienced IBM BAW Architect to lead innovative workflow and automation solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment.

If you enjoy solving complex business challenges, building scalable automation platforms, and working with cutting-edge technologies, this role is for you.

Technical skills

• IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
• BPMN process modelling
• REST / SOAP APIs
• MQ, Kafka and ESB Integrations
• Java / Java EE
• IBM WebSphere / OpenShift
• RPA, ODM and decision services (Advantageous)

Industry expertise:

• Financial services and Fintech
• Payments systems
• Digital banking platforms
• KYC, AML & GDPR compliance
• Stakeholder engagement and business analysis

Governance and strategy:

• Process governance frameworks
• Risk, audit and compliance processes
• Enterprise architecture best practices

Preferred qualifications:

• IBM BAW / BPM certifications
• TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs

Key responsibilities:

Workflow and process assessment

• Review and optimize IBM BAW/BPM workflows
• Identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
• Improve scalability, compliance, and efficiency
• Recommend innovative process enhancements

Integration architecture:

• Design and validate enterprise integration patterns
• Work across APIs, ESB, microservices & automation platforms
