Freelance Business Development Executive

Energize is looking for a motivated advertising business development representative based in Johannesburg to sell ad space in our publication to businesses in the energy industry. This role is a freelance position.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and meetings
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and reporting to management
• Staying updated on industry trends
• 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably advertising/energy sector sales
• Strong knowledge of the energy industry and its market dynamics
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Valid driving licence, own car, laptop and internet connection
