New report to assess SA manufacturing sectors

ManufacturingHub.co.za has commenced development of the first-ever Manufacturing.co.za – SA Manufacturing Assessed Report. The report will be released on 7 November 2007.

The aim of this report is to take an annual “snap-shot” of the South African regulated manufacturing industries (food, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic) and include comment from leading industry professionals about what trends they see developing in terms:

•Safety, health, environmental and quality environments
•Traceability
•Technology
•Industry trends
•Growth areas
•Who are the future “movers and shakers” in our local industry?
•New product development
•The South African manufacturing environment and moves offshore
•SA versus the international market

The report will include input from 10 or more contributors in the local industry and will comprise a 20+ page PDF document supplied on CD-ROM.
