The short course in Power System Protection provides comprehensive concepts of power system protection. This includes understanding the principles of the operation of protection system components, e.g. fuses, relays, circuit breakers, instrument transformers and their applications for the design of protection systems for transmission lines, reactors, SVCs, generators and transformers.
