The Guardian Activate Summit, which brings together the world's brightest and most influential figures to debate how technology is driving positive social change on a global scale, is coming to South Africa with a free seminar for individuals and organisations who are interested in social change through digital innovation.

Taking place at Turbine Hall in Newtown, Johannesburg on 26 June 2014, it is a free, apply-to-attend event with an impressive line-up of speakers. The summit is being organised in partnership with Omidyar Network, the investment company that focuses on supporting those who share their commitment to advancing social good at the pace and scale the world needs today.
