Aardklop national arts festival

When the 2011 Aardklop National Arts Festival kicked off in Potchefstroom, Vodacom subscribers were ensured a unique 'Power to You' experience.

The week-long annual festival (4 - 8 October) sported an outstanding programme this year including some of the brightest stars on the South African music scene: Springbok Nude Girls, Locnville, Goldfish, Jax Panik, Flash Republic, Fokofpolisiekar, Zebra & Giraffe, The Parlotones, Jack Parow; all supported by Vodacom Unlimited.

All Vodacom Color subscribers had access to an exclusive red zone at the festival. The 'Umlimited Zone' consisted of an enormous red Bedouin tent, lavish bean-bags, glass fridges, bar counters, a Green Screen Booth, charging stations, free Wifi and VIP luxury toilets for the ladies.

Once in the zone the students or guests could help themselves to complimentary soft drinks, relax in the chill area, sample some of the Vodacom products on offer, charge their phones, go online with the free wifi and most importantly the ladies were able to use the luxury toilets.

Vodacom also offered a chance for the students to upload their very own photo/video on the revolutionary green screen technology booth.
All content was published across three major platforms - Facebook, Twitter and YouTube with links to Unlimited Music on Vodacom Color. Twitter was used to publish vital event info, benefits to Vodacom subscribers at the event and original content and to answer user's questions around the event.
