The Movie Music Festival in DecemberThe Movie Music Festival - a first of its kind - will be held from on 10 December 2016 at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown. Gates will open from 12.00-2.00. Presented by Vertex Events, the event aims to celebrate South African artists by sharing their musical achievements and creative prowess to create a lifelong appreciation of local music with the same treatment of international music concert production standards. The event will not only entice with sound, but visuals, well planned and choreographed elements and high class performances by South African artists such as Riky Rick, Nasty C, Black Coffee, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Babes Wodumo, Black Motion, supported by an ensemble of more than 20 other artists and DJs. The Movie Music Festival is curated to mobilise the idea of telling defined stories on-stage merged with outstanding performances that will leave long-lasting impressions on the concertgoers. This means bringing the music elements to life by conveying the artists’ story and consistent delivery in astounding production.
