Situated three hours north of Johannesburg in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, the lodge is positioned in the 35,000ha park which is home to the Big Five, other wildlife and over 300 bird species.

Accommodating a maximum of 10 guests, the intimate size of the lodge allows exclusivity. “We have set out to achieve a personalised approach by creating a professional yet comfortable atmosphere,” explains Quintin Wiehahn, director of WH Leisure Group.

Packages on offer include self-catering and full board.

Apart from the traditional game drives, Fifty Seven Waterberg also offers activities such as stargazing and bush walks. Guests are also given the option of booking the entire lodge for private use or they can book a suite.
