L'Ormarin's Queen's Plate 2016 entertainment line-up announced
The horse-racing affair - with a 12-race card and impeccable blue-and-white dress code - is a combination of glamour and equine excellence with the After-Party the epicenter for festivities after sunset.
"This is the party I've really been looking forward to. LQP is the ultimate in glamour and good times so guests should expect a real musical trip from me," said Euphonik, who will take to the decks from 9pm and whose summer anthem Don't Wanna Be (Your Friend) is currently dominating the charts.
A regular LQP attendee and founder of the The Wedding DJs, Shaun Westwood, also known as Cape Town's DJ West, will set the tone from 7pm.
Downright sexy beats
"Expect upbeat and downright sexy beats to kick-start the party at this year's Queen's Plate," said DJ West whose crossover sound is a familiar soundtrack of celebratory evenings around Cape Town.
The Style Lounge Village marquee, LQP's most central area and vantage point for both on-track action and fine wining and dining, will be transformed into the After-Party venue.
Its central location will ensure that guests from other areas, such as the Stud Club and Chef's Table, can easily migrate to it without missing a second of the premier rock star aspect of the day.
