IT Graduates offered internships, applications close this week

UCS Technology Services has opened applications for its third annual internship programme, providing a structured one-year programme for IT graduates. Applications close on 15 November 2015 for paid employment in in Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Thoko Mzolisa, HR Executive, says, "The company provides opportunities to young South Africans and contributes to skills development and jobs creation in the ICT sector. Growing interns' potential through active and hands-on internships is also in line with the company's commitment to promoting employment equity."

With internships aligned to the MICT Seta protocols, young adults are equipped with valuable skills and relevant workplace experience. "Our internships are designed to bridge that gap between theory and practice through constructive opportunities for learning and development, with a view to permanent employment.

"We make use of mentors to ensure that our interns' knowledge is built practically in line with the needs and expectations of the business world," concludes Mzolisa.
