FlySafair surveys whether love is in the air this V-Day

Just for fun, FlySafair asked passengers flying to all its destinations on 13 and 14 February whether they were travelling to keep romantic trysts, or simply to get from A to B. Passengers were also asked to let the airline in on their romantic plans for the weekend.

The "Love Survey" revealed that as many as 41% of passengers were travelling to be with the objects of their affection on Valentine's Day, while 33% were travelling together with their significant others to a romantic destination. A passionate 80% of all passengers who completed the survey described themselves as "crazy in love" and 13% were hopeful that they would meet someone special to celebrate with. Nearly 80% of those surveyed also regard Valentine's Day as a highlight on the annual calendar, with only a tight-lipped 10% regarding it as just another day.

Most of the FlySafair passengers on their way to a weekend of love revealed that they hoped to be treated to breakfast in bed during the weekend. 27% of those surveyed said they would be content with chocolates and flowers, while a sexy 7% were holding out for lingerie or undies.

"From all this information, it's clear that FlySafair passengers are a romantic bunch! For whatever reason you are flying this weekend, we wish all our passengers a very Happy Valentine's Day from the entire FlySafair team," said Kirby Gordon, VP of Marketing for the airline.
