The venue is the CCDI Creative Enterprise Training Unit, 2nd floor, 37 Barrack Street, Cape Town. (Above The Field Office café, between Buitenkant and Harrington Streets.)

In this month's lineup, Gugulethu Mhlungu, stakeholder engagement manager for World Design Capital Cape Town 2014, will give an overview of design events and opportunities.

Siphiwe Ngwenya, the founder of award-winning hip-hop group Skwatta Kamp and creator of art and design installations, will discuss his current project, the Maboneng Township Arts Experience. This national public arts exhibition project, of which he is producer and head curator, turns homes into art galleries, and streets and alleyways into performance spaces.

Craft and design sector meetings are always held on the first Wednesday of each month. Craft producers can network with fellow producers and speakers, as well as CCDI staff. No booking is required and there is no charge.
