One on the leading manufacturing businesses are looking for a
Ansible Operations Engineer to join their team of IT innovators. This is an opportunity to work on cutting edge technical solutions within the automotive industry
You will be assisting with ensuring stability of systems and adherence of the team to companies’ Operations standards and perform operating system and Ansible Automation Platform lifecycle management.
Core understanding of and working experience with:- Knowledge of Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket/GitHub
- Knowledge of Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
- Basic knowledge of framework Agile Working Model
- Basic knowledge of Virtualisation technologies such as VMWare
- Basic knowledge of Private Cloud solutions
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server
- Basic knowledge of Dynatrace
- Basic knowledge of Splunk
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform (or Ansible Tower/AWX)
- Experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)
- Experience with coding and scripting (Bash, PowerShell etc) (Advantageous)
- Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite (Advantageous)
- Minimum of two years of configuration management and automation experience
- Minimum of two years of ITIL work experience

GZ58955 which is a long-term contract position paying per hour working semi remotely offering a cost to company salary of between
