Our requires an Integration Analyst with Oracle, PL/SQL, with SOLID API experience to join the expanding team. We are currently looking to develop and implement appropriate and efficient systems according to the provided specifications, standards and procedures, using various tools and languages but within the architectural standards and guidelines as established within the organisation to obtain optimal systems performance and quality.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education, preferably BComm (IS) or BSc (computer science) would be an advantage
• Applicable Oracle courses - would be an advantage
• Must have a minimum of five years' Oracle PL/SQL experience
• Minimum of two years' API Integration experience        
• Systems Analysis experience
• Must have a minimum of five years' Systems Development experience
• Must have a minimum of five years' (Oracle) specific experience
• XML experience would be advantageous
• Object-oriented programming experience would be advantageous
• Experience within the Financial Industry would be beneficial
• At least five years' experience working in a Compass environment is just an advantage as opposed to a must
• Translate business requirements into technical designs adhering to Discovery Invest processes, standards and guidelines, taking cognisance of performance, security and scalability requirements
• Deliver within agreed timeframes
• Participate and contribute towards defining and refining the architectural frameworks and software engineering practices within the environment.
• Liaise with relevant parties where clarification of business requirements or resolution to technical issues is needed
• Research and find effective solutions to technical issues that arise
• Estimate development timelines based on business requirements

Reference number for this position is GZ58231 which is a permanent position based in Sandton/ Hybrid offering a cost-to-company salary of R950,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
