Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the financial systems of the organisation.
- Create budgets for new and recommissioned TV productions.
- Provide financial reports to production executives and broadcasters.
- Ensure that the production adheres to relevant tax laws and industry regulations.
- Prepare all aspects of the operating budget and annual financial statements.
- Manage internal controls and establish and maintain a risk management system.
- Manage and process payroll.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, crew, and other parties involved in the production.
- Analyse production costs and identify areas where costs can be reduced or efficiencies improved.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage staff and assist the managing director and executive producer with company-related matters.
