Freelance Graphic Designer (Contract)
Remote | One day per week
Word and Smyth Marketing Agency is looking for a skilled graphic designer with 3-5 years of professional experience in both print and digital asset creation. This is a contract-based, remote role, requiring your expertise one day per week. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including both digital assets and printed materials like brochures, guides, and flyers.
Key responsibilities
- Design print materials such as brochures, guides, and flyers.
- Create digital assets such as banners, web content, and email campaigns.
- Ensure all designs adhere to client brand guidelines.
- Assist with internal communications and occasional presentations.
- Two+ years of commercial design experience in-house or agency side.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical ability.
- Experience working within brand guidelines.
- Full proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign (Id), Photoshop (Ps), Illustrator (Ai), After Effects (Ae) and if possible, Premiere Pro (Pr)
- Familiarity with Figma, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in video editing is a bonus.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.
- A passion for expanding your design skills and staying current with design trends.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Id, Ps, Ai, Ae, Pr).
- Figma.
- Google Docs.
- Microsoft Office.
- Video editing and motion graphics are highly desirable.
