The ideal candidates:

The ideal candidate needs to have at least 10 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry in a management position.

NB:    You will have worked in industries with a Product related focus - experience in non-related industries will not be considered.

The role:

As the marketing and communications manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's future. You'll lead a dynamic team, design cutting edge campaigns, and engage with diverse audiences to amplify the Company message.

In order to engage with the diverse nature of he community, it is essential that you are 100% Bilingual - in both English and Afrikaans - written and spoken. Other language proficiency would be to your advantage.

Case study:

You will be required to present a case study to Senior Management - in order to validate both Product knowledge as well as your Language proficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies
• Lead branding, PR and communication campaigns
• Analyse market trends and adjust strategy accordingly
• Foster relationships with media stakeholders
• Manage budgets and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns
• Liaise with international suppliers managing co-branding strategies
• Development of marketing collateral (both English, Afrikaans and other official languages as required) - hands on design abilities would be to your advantage

Skills:

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years experience marketing and communications in a product-focused environment
• Strong leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - essential that you are fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Your own reliable transport - the ability to travel nationally, your presence at Trade Shows is essential.
