Plant Engineer (Automotive)

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Certifications: Government Certificate of Competency (Factories) (GCC)
• Electrical Previous GMR (2) Appointment and Responsibility
• Automotive industry experience is a top priority.
• Maintenance engineering experience covering all engineering disciplines (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation)
• 6 years and above in plant engineering-related roles

• Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs,
  conduct regular inspections, and collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment
  failures.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, analyse production processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations,
  conduct risk assessments, and lead safety training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
• Project Management: Lead engineering projects related to plant expansion, upgrades, or modifications, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• All GMR (2) responsibilities including root cause analyses and investigation of incidents.
• Ensure the achievement of the overall objectives of manufacturing services and maintenance.
• Project management including the commissioning of new equipment.
• Preparation and management of annual budgets
