We are a publishing and events company that is looking for a creative and charismatic video journalist to create exciting content for our media and social media platforms. 

Junior video journalist responsibilities:

• Planning, scripting and research for each video project.
• Video Interviews with industry leaders. Producing training “How-To” video content for customers and media.
• Recording footage that has excellent creative blend and with great sound and video quality.
• Editing footage after it has been recorded to include transitions and text where necessary.
• Writing content for social media.
• Uploading content to social media and web.
• Staying informed about industry events and news.
• Keeping abreast of the latest videography trends for news and media. 

Qualifications, experience and knowledge:

• Journalist qualification or proven experience.
• A valid drivers licence with no infringements or outstanding fines and own vehicle.
• Proficiency with camera equipment, editing tools and video editing software.
• Excellent knowledge and technical photographic and video skills.
• Have a sound social media experience. 
• Proficient at writing articles and social media content. 
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Successful candidates need to have a portfolio on hand if requested of video and writing examples.
