Social Writer

Main purpose of the job:

As a social writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience, enhances our online presence, and drives engagement. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our overall brand objectives.

Main responsibilities:

• Create and edit engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social channels.
• Monitor social media trends and audience engagement to inform content strategies.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to create multimedia content.
• Analyse social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.

Key competencies/skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media writing or content creation.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas.
