About the role

You'll own editing as a function - systems, standards, hiring, performance, and scale. This is a leadership seat from the moment you start, with the mandate and backing to build editing into a real competitive advantage.

Every piece of content our agency produces flows through editing. As we scale, we need someone who can build the system, set the quality bar, and lead a team of editors to ship work that gives every creator their best shot at performing. You won't be hands-on editing - daily quality lives with our Quality Manager. You'll own the systems, the standards, and the people.

What you'll own

• The entire editing function across short-form video, image, long-form YouTube, and trailer cut-ups.
• Building, documenting, and running the workflows that keep production smooth as volume grows.
• Leading a Quality Manager and a team of roughly six to seven editors - and growing it as we scale.
• Setting and defending the "ready to ship" quality standard for every content type.
• The editing database, hand-offs in and out of the function, and clean escalation of upstream issues.
• Weekly written updates to leadership and a monthly review of the function.

What you bring

• 6+ years in video editing, with at least 2 years managing a team of 3 or more editors.
• Deep craft fluency across short-form video, image, and long-form editing - you can set a quality bar and defend it.
• A genuine ownership mindset. You've improved a process or workflow before and can talk about it with numbers.
• Comfort in data - Sheets, Airtable, dashboards. You spot trends before they become problems.
• Calm under volume. 100+ pieces a day doesn't rattle you.
• A root-cause thinker who builds people up rather than burning them out.
• Strong written English - you'll work daily with an international team.

Nice to have

• Hands-on time with Process Street, ClickUp, Asana, or similar process tools.
• A track record scaling a creative function through real growth.

This role isn't for you if

• You want to be the hands-on editor this is a leadership seat.
• You can't name a specific workflow you've improved and the impact it had.
• You struggle to delegate quality without becoming the bottleneck.
