New and Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Executive

Our client is seeking a dedicated sales executive to join their team and specialise in selling new and pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles, strong sales experience, and a customer-first approach to building lasting relationships.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (non-negotiable)
• Valid driver’s licence
• No criminal record
• Proven experience in vehicle sales or a similar sales role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle features and specifications
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used vehicles to meet set targets
• Ensure all vehicle accessories are sold with the car and targets are achieved
• Follow consignment processes, including maintaining stock sheets
• Meet pre-delivery preparation standards
• Complete all sales documentation accurately and to standard
• Ensure customers receive required documentation, Natis papers, and spare keys
• Follow up after delivery to guarantee customer satisfaction and address any after-sales queries
• Assist with appraisals and trade-ins in collaboration with the manager
• Aim to achieve high CEM (customer experience monitoring) scores as per VCSA standards
• Assist with showroom and outdoor displays
• Convert showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and matching them with suitable vehicles
• Provide potential customers with comprehensive information, including comparisons with competitor models
• Take customers on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features
• Build a rapport with customers and assist with completing the relevant paperwork for a smooth sale
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and act as an ambassador for the brand
• Be available for workshop duty as needed
