Medical Aid Broker/Sales Specialist

Our client, based in George, is looking for a medical aid broker/sales specialist to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role is well-presented and well-spoken, they have knowledge and experience in selling medical aid and related Gap Cover products.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions: 

• To perform thorough assessments on clients according to their medical needs by conducting a needs analysis
• Assisting and advising clients with purchasing medical aid and gap cover products
• Advise clients on medical aid options and benefits
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client and service records, sharing information as appropriate and in line with POPIA
• Liaising with and resolving medical aid queries on client's behalf
• Medical scheme advice and/or service experience essential

Minimum qualifications:

• 2-5 years medical aid experience
• Matric qualification
• Accredited by the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS accreditation) 
• Experience within a Brokerage environment beneficial
• Experience in short-term insurance – personal lines
• Strong technical knowledge
