Responsibilities:

• Modelling complex business problems.
• Identifying opportunities to improve business processes.
• Building tailor-made SQL solutions for monitoring and automation of controls.
• Developing exception reports and Power BI dashboards for stakeholders in the business.
• Utilising store procedures to create routines that maintain reporting and automated controls.
• Identifying and building appropriate models/solutions for use in the company's operations.
• Creating logic links between data from various systems to facilitate cross-system reporting.
• Automating controls in business processes.
• Designing and implementing automated data comparisons to trigger specific processes.
• Simplifying complex manual processes into automated ones.
• Engaging with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
• Over five years of relevant experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using Power BI or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Python, Pytorch, SQL, NOSQL, TensorFlow, Spark, Hadoop, Github, ETL, machine learning, QlikView, AWS, or Azure.

The reference number for this position is NG59143, which is a permanent hybrid position based in Centurion, offering a salary of R800,000 to R1 million per annum, negotiable based on experience.
