Who are we: A leading strategic creative agency based in Pretoria, that offer a range of strategic, creative and digital services.

Who are we looking for: TTL Brand Strategist.

What will you do:

Working alongside the current Agency Head of Strategy and the ECD, and primarily servicing the Account Managers and Creatives across the business. As a high-performance candidate, you will deliver on the following:

• Full-scope marketing and brand strategy management and development, insight development, integrated communication strategy development, accountable strategic control, strategic presentation
• Which may include competitor reviews, brand narrative development, messaging frameworks, support of big Idea generation, strategic position, launch campaigns
• Client leadership and support to Client Service across the agency
• Client workshops, consulting and informed brand leadership and direction
• Creative inspiration, light copywriting, and idea generation in support of the creative teams
• End-to-end support and ownership of strategic functions within the business units

What will you need:

• Qualifications: Minimum University undergraduate level, or equivalent
• Experience level: Mid-senior with 8 to 10 years of hands-on strategic brand/communication experience
• Additional experience: Minimum 3-5 years TTL referenceable advertising agency experience
• Applicable Industries: Across B2B & B2C (inclusive of, but not limited to automotive, finance, FMCG, retail, etc.)
• Responsible to: Current agency head of strategy and CEO / ECD
• Direct team size: 15 (BUDs, client service, creator directors, art directors, designers, digital and social team)
• Total agency size: 25 – 30 (80% of staff are mid-senior)
• Base: Pretoria (Irene) - Full-time, on-site (negotiable after successful completion of standard three month evaluation)
