Junior Accounting/Bookkeeper Assistant

Job description

• Credit card statement reconciliation and management
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers
• Assisting with ad hoc financial requests
• Preparing and authorising batch payments
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Basic ad hoc admin duties
• Petty cash reconciliations 
• VIP Payroll inputting
• Reconciliation of VAT 

• Matric
• High attention to detail
• A high level of accuracy and numeracy
• Ability to work with large datasets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong planning and organising skills
• Numerical ability
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to properly manage your time and prioritise importance of tasks
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping please

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
• VIP payroll - or any other payroll system would be advantageous
• High level of accuracy is a must!!
• Hard worker is also a skill we require
• We are a film production company and do work late on occasion so this position would not be suitable for someone who watches the clock
