Requirement gathering and analysis:

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

Feature scoping and prioritisation:

• Define clear and actionable feature scopes based on business objectives and user needs.
• Prioritise features in alignment with business value and development constraints.
• Create detailed functional specifications and user stories.

Collaboration with design and development:

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure that design concepts align with business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
• Provide ongoing support to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.

Process improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
• Analyse existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.

Data analysis:

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Use data to inform decision-making and optimise business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a business analyst in a software development environment.
• Proven experience in scoping and delivering B2B software applications and features.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Preferred:

• Experience in SaaS, marketing, or marketing technology
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with project management tools.
