CMT is seeking to employ a suitably qualified
Girls Club Mentor (
GCM) to work in an after school program in
Brits. Preference will be given to female applicants due to the nature of the programme.
Key duties and responsibilities (may include but are not limited to)- Work in an after school program within Brits that aligns in-school and out-of-school learning
- Provide academic support and enrichment opportunities by assisting and guiding the girls in the clubs to develop their assets
- Recruit girls for Girls Clubs
- Hold the required number of clubs per week
- Leverage community resources and engage parents to enhance programming
- Maintain the integrity of the Girls Club, of CMT mission and goals demonstrating the Club culture and values at all times.
- Meet monthly and quarterly targets
- Recording and reporting maintained in all relevant sources as determined by the M&E team ensuring that forms and registers are completed to the agreed standard inclusive of utilising the mobile application
- Comply with ad-hoc requests from your line manager

Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate(or equivalent)
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English and Tswana required
- Possess excellent communication skills (writing, spelling, listening and speaking)
- Strong organisational/logistical skills
- Proven record in meeting set targets
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Knowledge of current HIV/AIDS, TB and other related health issues required
- Ability to cope in a pressurised environment
- Ability to work independently.
