CNBC Africa, the continent's business television news channel, will be screening the fourth episode of the series, 'The Philips African Dialogues', a discussion of issues and topics impacting society and business in Africa. The forth dialogue discusses the 'Skills Gap in Africa'. The dialogue took place on 20 March 2013 and will be broadcast on Saturday, 23 March between 7pm and 8pm (CAT) on DStv channel 410.

Royal Philips Electronics has arrived in Cape Town, the final destination of the Cairo to Cape Town road show 2012. Following the kick-off in Cairo three months ago, Philips has travelled 12 000km across Africa, visiting seventeen cities in eleven countries. The main focus of this year's road show was to increase awareness on how healthcare and lighting solutions can contribute to improving the quality of people's lives in Africa.

Royal Philips will extend its investment in South Africa with the launch of a new company, Philips Lighting Solutions, a subsidiary of Philips South Africa.
