Five new late night programmes on kykNET

kykNET has announced five new programmes for the late night slot at 9:30pm on weekdays. These focus on politics, business, culture, art and satire and are hosted by a variety of experts and entertainers.

The station's late night current affairs viewing will kick off on Mondays with Insig, hosted by Waldimar Pelser, editor of Afrikaans Sunday newspaper Rapport. Winslyn on Tuesdays will tackle issues related to business, industry, technology and entrepreneurship and is hosted by Santie Botha, chancellor of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.

Hosted by news and media stalwart Mariëtta Kruger and TV and media producer Kabous Meiring, Prontuit on Wednesdays will focus on people, communities, polemic debate and cultural issues. Flits on Thursdays, hosted by the Gauteng editor of Huisgenoot and YOU, Yvonne Beyers and Sarie style and social editor, Fanie Cronjé, is for viewers interested in literature, fine arts, theatre, film, pop culture, fashion, trends and social media.

VrydagNag Laat (VNL) will close the week with a light hearted mix of satire, spoofs and improv, delivered by Francois Toerien, Melt Sieberhagen, Bouwer Bosch, Jody Abrahams and Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
