About the Author:
Jacques Magliolo has developed a four-phase approach to corporate financial intelligence (outlined in "Jungle Tactics"), which includes research, due diligence, business plans, corporate profiles and implementation strategies. He has been an investment and corporate strategist for the past 17 years. His experience includes being a director and head of research for a local stockbroking firm, financial journalism, business development, corporate strategy and writing financial books. Jungle tactics, his fourth book, is set to be sold in the UK and South African universities. His fifth book, on AltX, is due for release in February 2004. During this volatile period in South Africa's history, Magliolo worked at the Financial Mail, Business Day and the UK-based Petroleum Economist. He has also been a columnist for the Mail & Guardian and The Star and today is editor of his own financial newsletter.
