FORT is looking for an ace Production Manager.

About you.

Managing Productions is hard. You’re harder. Fast-paced, high-pressure and high-stake situations are your jam, consistently brilliant outputs your bread and butter. You like keeping people and budgets on track, making sure things get done, and managing the controlled insanity on-set. As the saying goes, the second word in ‘show business’ is ‘business’––and you’re all over it.

The job.

A typical day in the life of a Production Manager includes: 

Managing TV & Content Productions from conception to delivery

Interfacing with clients and suppliers

Quoting

Ensuring that clients are well-managed and taken care of to the point of client delight

Being the client touchpoint from brief to delivery

Making sure TV & Content Productions are completed on time and per expectation

Booking crew and cast as required

Producing and/or overseeing TV & Content Productions

Reporting to the Head of Production, and where necessary, assisting as a co-ord or Production Manager

A focus on selling the services of TV & Content Productions

What you can bring to the table.

A bachelor’s degree in film or video or something related to the field

A minimum of 3–5 years working experience (some of it on-set) and the references to back it up

A background in TV & Content Production

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

The ability to build, manage and maintain client and supplier relationships

You have a driver’s license and your own transport

You have experience managing the post-production process
