On 25 November, Hot 1027 will broadcast from Papachinos, Broadacres Shopping Centre, from 06h00 to 18h30. The station will take pledges and donations in a quest to better the 2020 achievement of R 6.2 million. “I know that times are tough, but I believe that we can achieve a target of R7 million in 2021, particularly with our broadcast footprint reaching so many more people,” says Madurai.
“Every year Hot Cares touches as many lives as humanly possible,” says Carmen Rocha, Hot Cares manager. “We also reach out to numerous organisations who share our vision and passion for making a difference and over the past we have been abundantly blessed by the kindness and generous spirit of individual and corporate donors.”
Hot Cares primary focus is on providing aid for:
