"We are very lucky to have a full field already booked for the golf day," says Sharlene Vallance, Executive Committee Member. "The ABF Presidents Cup is the more formal of our two annual golf days that we host in Johannesburg. It is always well attended and we are very appreciative of all the advertising and media companies who book fourballs in support of the event.
"These are not the easiest times in our industry and we have found that it makes more sense to get two or even three sponsors on board to sponsor the dinner. We are very fortunate to have Ad Outpost, Ads24 and The MediaShop who have agreed to fully sponsor dinner for us."
The media owners and media agency are most gracious with this sponsorship for the ABF and contributions like these make all the difference when it comes making sure that the costs are covered and that the day is profitable.
There is still one hole available for sponsorship at R1000 says Vallance. It would be a great opportunity for a company to get exposure at the event. It's a short par 3 and perfectly suited to host a 'nearest-the-pin' competition.
