The bats (committee and sponsors) will be at the course before even the first bird has had a chance to chirp. Tee off for the early birds has been set for 06h45 whilst the not-so-early risers will be teeing off at 11h45. Dinner and prize-giving will follow as soon as the last group completes their round. “Eat Greek will be catering the event again this year, so we know the chow will be good,” says Kerry Sandiford, Chairperson of ABF Durban. “If you do not have a ticket for dinner please give one of the committee members a call and we will reserve one for you at a cost of R100.
Because last year was such a success, we will be using the same prize giving format this year,” she says. “The top three 4 balls will be awarded prizes, followed by lucky draws which allows everyone an opportunity to be a winner.”
This year three items will be up for auction: a R50 000 television package provided by Oracle Airtime Sales and a R50 000 outdoor package sponsored by INM Outdoor. “We also have the most amazing framed print of an original painting by Richard Palmer of the Durban Yacht Mall donated by RJ Palmer Advertising,” says Kerry.
A silent auction will precede events. To book your fourballs, confirm sponsorship or make any bids prior to the event, contact Kerry on
