DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AMONG OTHER MAY INCLUDE
Allocate and post bank statement entries on cloud-based accounting software
Create and post journal entries
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
Perform bank reconciliations
Maintain creditors and debtors detailed ledgers and ageing
Perform monthly creditor reconciliations
Ad-hoc reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Run payroll on Simplepay
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Matric with Accounting
A National Diploma in Finance would be preferred
Own reliable Vehicle and valid Driver's License
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3-5 years Bookkeeping experience up to trial balance
Payroll Processing
Computer literate with Excel (Intermediate)
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
A good general understanding of cloud/online Accounting Software would be advantages.
Fluent if both English and Afrikaans
