Duties and responsibilities

Product knowledge
  • Superior product and property knowledge of Pezula Hotel, Resort and Spa is imperative
  • Maintain knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions
Marketing
  • Market products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Database management
  • Ensure websites are regularly updated and managed
  • Attend trade and travel shows of the various market area
  • Targeting new key accounts potential for the hotel. (i.e. upcoming car launches, etc.)
  • Traditional marketing
  • Social media
  • Weekly/monthly newsletters
Sales and revenue
  • Promote and sell the Pezula products and services
  • Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity
  • Sales calls on corporate businesses and travel agents in the surrounding areas
  • Build relationships and strategize with key accounts to grow business mutually
  • Monthly and weekly reports on all revenue streams
  • Actively manage business bookings
  • Tracking sales goals
Customer relations
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and excellent communication skills
  • Adopting a “can do” attitude with regards to customer inquiries
  • Encouraging repeat business through excellent customer service and inquiry handling
Golf club specific

Club events and memberships
  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data
  • Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Promoting of Club Memberships and club facilities on offer
Minimum requirements

Qualification:
  • Qualification in sales and marketing not essential but preferred
  • Relevant qualification in hospitality and tourism not essential, but preferred.
Experience: 
  • At least two to three years’ experience in the same or similar position
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Opera experience or similar property management system advantageous
  • Experience in sales corporations to maximise revenue
  • Five+ years’ MICE Sales experience
  • Five+ years’ B2C sales experience
