You will be designing, developing, maintaining and integrating server-related systems

Requirements:

• Three+ years of experience in related architecture development
• Practical knowledge, experience and exposure required in the following:
• Java server-side architecture and development experience
• JavaScript
• Linux
• Design Patterns
• Spring
• PostgreSQL (Database design and programming)
• Development environment using IntelliJ IDE

Bonus tech stack:

• jPOS
• GIT
• Bitbucket
• JIRA
• DB Clustering
• Financial Background

Personality profile:

• Be self-motivated, energetic and willing to put in extra effort when required
• Be able to work close together within a team
• Be willing to put a lot of initial effort into understanding a complex existing system, do enhancements on that system, as well as implement some new functionality, with ongoing technical support (bug resolving) etc.

Duties and responsibilities

• You will be designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions
• You need to be able to analyse complex distributed production deployments, and make recommendations to optimize performance.
• You need the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
• You will need to keep up with industry developments at all times in order to make informed decisions about the software you are working with.

Qualifications

• Tertiary related qualification degree/diploma
• Java certified courses advantageous
