Job description

Exciting technology start-up hiring a customer success team lead

Core responsibilities include:
  • Driving revenue and landlord satisfaction
  • Overseeing landlord progression through the sales funnel to maintain and improve lease and secondary product volume
  • Motivating a team to hit and exceed targets (team of 7/8 people)
  • Communicating to the wider operational division and tech team as to improvements and/or changes required
  • Providing best practice and examples of customer engagement for team to follow
  • Retaining, understanding and delighting customers
  • Managing team leave
  • Hiring new staff when required
  • Overseeing new staff on boarding
  • Holding relationships with relevant service providers
  • Tracking team performance and reporting as required
  • Assessing and improving processes, policies and procedures
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensuring team members have the necessary resources to perform their jobs effectively
  • Resolving conflicts
  • Using data to make key decisions

Requirements

The ideal candidate should:
  • Be a highly productive team leader / manager who has experience in customer services and sales; knowledge of CRM systems or experience managing tele-sales a bonus
  • Have minimum three years’ experience in a customer-facing team, and an additional two years’ experience in managing a team; knowledge of long-term residential rentals a bonus
  • Have demonstrated an ability to attain tertiary academic qualifications; ideally a bachelor's degree
  • Show ability to work under pressure, deliver work timeously, and be prepared to innovate in order to optimize processes
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; multiple languages a bonus
  • Be willing to manage a team with both salary and incentive structures in place
  • Have good excel skills
  • Display passion for changing the status quo, have a reason to want to work in a startup, and be willing to grow with the company as it expands
