What We're Looking for in You:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable around technology and willing and able to quickly learn new applications and software.
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Friendly, knowledgeable and a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Basic understanding of accounting/finance principles relevant to property administration.
  • Be ambitious, a great team player and a nice person to have around the office.
  • Be extremely self-sufficient and able to make decisions on your own. Procrastinators need not apply!
  • Show a strong desire to help people and a positive attitude at all times even when you are feeling grumpy (this is more important than anything else on this page!).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
What You’ll Be Up To:
  • Client relationship management.
  • Ensuring that all queries are resolved in a professional efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance and certificates are in order.
  • All property administration including property sourcing, book viewings, processing tenant applications, update all client information.
  • Managing repairs and maintenance as well as relationships with contractors.
  • Familiar with rent roll and credit control.
  • General bookkeeping using Xero. This includes invoicing, follow up on late payments, reconciling, reporting.


Requirements

  • South Africa Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Familiar with property management software.
