Developer Placements Manager

Job description

The DPM would be responsible for crucial functions of within placements department. We are looking for an individual with a mid-level project and account management experience with an understanding of the developer recruitment space to drive our placements strategy. Your goals would be to match our developer partners with hiring client companies. This would be done through building relationships with hiring companies to understand their strategic hiring needs, structuring placement agreements and managing the respective vacancies pipeline. You’ll also be responsible for support on our dev-partner event and digital marketing strategy. Creating and executing on developer partner growth strategies and maintaining positive relationships with client companies are key to  success in this role

Responsibilities include
  • Be able to match applicable job vacancies with developer partners skill sets and career goals
  • Be able to structure and negotiate revenue values for each placement with different client companies
  • Ensure client and partner pipelines grow and remain relevant through regular contact and networking events
  • Support the structuring of partner contracts with graduate developers
  • Understanding placement partners recruitment cycles and update the placement pipeline on the CRM
  • Actively managing the developer partner profile cards in order to attract client companies and liaising with marketing to promote the partners using social tools
  • Sourcing partners and client companies by creating and supporting the execution of networking events in order to build our  hiring company and developer base
  • Build support structures for our developer partners using the information from client companies through liaising with the mentorship/quality team
  • Attract additional dev partners and communicating the benefits of partnering with HyperionDev Careers

Requirements

Essential
  • Proven experience in IT recruitment, HR Project management, talent acquisition strategy or similar position
  • Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
  • Marketing and communications strategy
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Confident and pleasant personality
  • Well-organized and proven ability to work with targets
  • Sound judgment
  • Commitment to people development
Advantageous
  • BSc/BA in HR, marketing or other fields
  • Experience in Education technology advantageous
  • Passionate about technology and excited by start-ups
