Job description

On The Ball College seeks to help develop South Africa into a knowledge-based society by encouraging more people to become educated and develop their skills as a means of contributing to economic growth.

The Facilitator will be managing the end-to-end process, teachings and development of students. The successful candidate will be directly responsible and accountable for the preparation, presentation, assessing and moderating of the various IT courses. The Facilitator’s goal is to effectively facilitate courses in a manner that is consistent with the core values of the Institution. Previous Teachers/Educators are also encouraged to apply.

The role will require you to work in a high-pressured environment and enhance the culture of the Institution. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable and have a high level of integrity. Good interpersonal and communication skills will be a core expectation.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate various training programmes online and in a classroom.
• Create learning material, as required.
• Complete and submit lesson plans to the Project Leader one per week before the lesson takes place.
• Marking all assignments and giving learners feedback.
• Moderation of learner POE
• Ensure that the timelines and deliverables of a project are adhered to
• Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information as required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Facilitator and have a Technical Facilitator qualification
• A good English communicator.
• Good English grammar and spelling.
• Diploma or Degree qualification in IT.
• Any of the following SAQA qualifications: Technical Support; Systems Support, End-user computing, System Development, Business Analysis.
• Any CompTIA certification exams ( A+, N+, Security, Cybersecurity)
• Any Oracle certificates (OCA certificates)
• Any Microsoft certification (MCP, MCSE,MCSD)
• MCSE- Windows Server 2012.
• MCSD- App builder.
• Code 8 drivers licence
• Assessor and Moderator experience (advantageous) with certification.
• Must have experience in online training.
