Job description

Ninety9cents is a full-service, integrated advertising agency located in Cape Town, and is one of South Africa’s largest independently owned agencies. Led by founder and Managing Director Andrew Brand, the agency’s extensive client base includes leading brands such as Shoprite/Checkers, Ackermans, PUMA, Spur Group, Capitec and Distell, to name but a few. 


We are looking for a passionate and resourceful individual to assist with some high-volume recruitment on a temporary basis for approximately two months


Duties include but are not limited to:


·      Assist in developing job specifications to advertise on external job boards

·      Work with inhouse recruitment software to source available talent

·      Screen candidate cv’s and forward to hiring managers

·      Conduct initial screenings through face-to face and/or telephonic interviews

·      Conduct reference checks

·      Schedule interviews, compile the relevant paperwork such as offer letters etc

·      Manage initial onboarding process



Minimum Experience:

-       Two+ years’ experience in full recruitment process

-       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

-       High level of spoken and written English


·      HR-related qualification

·      Knowledge of relevant labour laws such as BCEA

Personal attributes:

-       Able to multitask

-       Highly organised and must have good time management

-       Be action and results orientated

-       Be proactive and demonstrate initiative
