Job description

The purpose of this role is to bring the Boston Breweries craft beer portfolio to life in the trade, by leveraging brand expertise and selling skills to develop the relationships required to ensure our beers are consistently positioned to out-perform the competition.

Boston Breweries operates in a complex, ever-changing and exciting market. Being one of the first Micro-Breweries we come with 18 years of experience. 



Requirements

  • Matric/grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification in sales and/ or marketing will be advantageous.
  • Experience in the Liquor industry with preferably liquor rep experience in Cape Town area.
  • Computer literate
  • Must have a  clean drivers licence as well as own vehicle
    Goals:
    • Call cycles management and achievement of sales volume and targets.
    • Negotiation of new draught installations within your region.
    • Implement promotions, promotional and point of sale placements at store level
    • Implement and execute promotional activities
    • Monitor stock levels
    • Develop relationship with store and venue managers/ owners, informing him/her of promotions and stock availability and at all times ensuring that the in-store store stock cover is adequate to ensure 100% availability at all times.
    • Discuss stock, rate of sales and negotiate displays and pricing
    • Negotiate new off trade accounts
    • Achieve targets
    • Events on weekends and evenings, from time to time
    • Compile weekly reports based on customer liaison and sales
    • Achieve targets and goals
    • Build brands and sales volumes through implementation  of Company standards and strategies

    Have you got "it"?:
    • Strong sales skills and experience a must
    • Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English.
    • Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills.
    • Must have a passion for interacting with all people.
    • Ability to operate independently.
    • Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven.
