Educational qualifications 
  • Matric
Skills and knowledge 
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills to manage interactions and relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
  • Above average proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Numerate with a high level of accuracy and attention to alpha and numerical data
  • Query resolution skills to identify and follow through on queries and tasks
  • Excellent command and comprehension of business English (verbal and written)
Experience required 
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in administration and/or sales environment
  • Background experience in Sales and/or Marketing would be an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge of Advertising Processes would be an advantage

Key outcomes 
  • Liaise closely and build good, professional and positive relationships with advertisers/agencies, AEs, the finance department, production department, scheduling team and the stations
  • Produce consistently accurate schedules and reports to Clients, AE’s and management
  • Knowledgeable of the Primedia products we sell (how to administer and execute them correctly)
  • Processing of all applications, amendments, flightings, and audio
  • Troubleshoots all aspects of the above, offer recommendations to clients when needed and any other solution to maximize revenue especially if the error resulted from a technical issue
  • Ensure that the order confirmations are correct and all possible discrepancies are sorted, prior to the distribution to advertisers or agencies
  • Ensure all administration related functions inter alia complaints, queries, filing, emails, answering phones, maintaining data bases, etc. is managed timeously, accurately and professionally with minimum conflict
  • Process all relevant key outcomes, mentioned above, on the internal traffic system
  • Deliver a friendly and professional service to all stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Adhere to a 24-hour turn-around time on all above aspects and follow up if not able to
  • Responsible for catering and coordination of client breakfasts, lunches and entertainment
  • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time e.g. traffic systems maintenance, assistance with upgrades/ projects, sending clippings to clients from Audio file when requested, preparation of visual presentations, distribution of tickets, etc
