Job description

Established Importer of Promotional Headwear & Apparel is looking to employ a Buyer/production administrator to manage with production/purchases and order administration relating to the company's Product Range. Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in this field.

                                           

Duties

• Liaising with International suppliers via email; process and execute purchase orders; Requests/Receive/Approve production Samples.
• Price negotiations with suppliers
• Quality inspections as shipments are received.
• Maintain the supplier database
• Maintain database of all our products, including technical drawings, patterns, artwork, label designs and packaging specifications.

Must-haves

• Computer Literate -Strong Excel and Outlook skills
• Must have previous experience of importing goods and liaising with International suppliers.
• Must have a basic knowledge of garment technology and construction
• Must have an eye for detail and colours.
• Must have strong administrative skills
• Must work efficiently, accurately and neatly
