Social Media Community Manager Intern

Understanding our clients’ brands and social media communities and improving community engagement is just some of the work you will do at G&G Digital.

In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

• Report to Social Media Manager

• • Manage communities throughout the day
  
  
  • Ignite and close conversations
  
  
  • Grow fan bases
  
  
  • Respond to comments and questions
  
  
  • Liaise with Social Media Manager on feedback and content
  
  
  • Compile monthly social media stats
  
  
  • Schedule posts

• Utilising a content management program to manage social media platforms.

• Moderate all Social Media Platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Reviews, etc

• Engage with communities by diligently replying to messages and comments

• Ability to write and respond according to agreed brand voices

• Monitor and measure the impact of content, analyse, review and provide feedback to Social Media Manager

• Read and understand Content Strategy Documents

• Follow international brand pages and competitors

• Assess and report back on insights or findings 

• Supply information on trends to Social Media Manager

Advantageous

Experiential requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or similar field of study

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and other Social Media Management Tools (e.g., Hootsuite, AgoraPulse, etc.)

At least one or more years’ experience in social media or community management in at least three of the following channels:

Facebook

Twitter

YouTube

LinkedIn

Instagram

Google Reviews

Ability to work under pressure

Superior ability to execute multiple tasks and programs under deadline pressure

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong interpersonal communication skills
