Job description

Culturally aware, creative strategy background, future-forward mind-set, understanding of social climate and culture tribes emerging amongst our target audiences, follows local trends and influencers, understanding of research methodologies, ideator, conceptual 

Responsibilities: 

Team SLA Compliance: 

Meet weekly, monthly, campaign and special research project deadlines. Ensuring assigned tasks have been completed in the agreed timeframe. 

Creative and Cultural Insights Excellence:

Quality of insights. Collect, interpret and curate information from both on-the-ground and industry sources to craft insights which stimulate the ideation of Earned Media ideas which will help create Iconic Brands and real cultural connection with our consumers. 

Creative and Cultural Innovation and Best Practice: 

Innovation and best practice. Stay abreast of both current and future trends and industry development across digital platforms and within consumer segments. Always look for new ways to use data as a storytelling medium to stimulate conversation and push our brands towards being more future-forward.

Earned Media Excellence:  

Support the Earned Impression KPI through creating stimulating
and culturally relevant trend content and cultural consumer insights, which are delivered through the weekly and monthly Newsroom format. 

Team Work / Accountability: 

Take accountability as one of the Trends leads for brands in the AB InBev portfolio. Act as the cultural backbone of the agency, constantly striving to promote the adoption of culturally relevant Earned Media brand opportunities.  


Requirements

Qualifications/experience 
  • Matric
  • Higher Certificate/Diploma) or relevant tertiary qualifications/certifications 
  • Five + years either social media management/digital content management/data and analysis/strategy/or media experience – key being the ability to interpret data and identify trends and insights 
  • Experience using ORM and reporting tools 
Personality 

Strategically minded, critical thinker, meticulous attention to detail, client-facing with presentation skills, storyteller, digital native, curious, ideater, persuasive
