PPC Specialist

The primary responsibility entails the development, execution and evaluation of paid online marketing. This role requires a solid understanding of and experience in paid search to drive successful digital campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure that digital advertising campaigns are carried out in conjunction with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Matric
  • A marketing or industry-related diploma or degree would be beneficial
  • Proficient in Google Adwords, Google Display Network and Retargeting
  • Strong MS Excel skills with excellent numerical and analytical ability
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience using Google Analytics (GA certified preferred).
  • Experience with AdWords Editor and keyword research / analysis / expansion / optimization tools
  • Experience with paid media and display. DoubleClick experience is a bonus
  • Setup, manage and evaluate paid search marketing campaigns (Pay Per Click, Display Advertising and Retargeting)
  • To drive successful campaigns on platforms such as Google Adwords, Facebook, LinkedIn and Bing
  • Keyword research, audience targeting and optimise quality score
  • Analysis of click through rates, impressions, cost per click and conversions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of paid search campaigns on a daily basis to fine-tune efforts
  • Identify search trends, best practices and new techniques in the field of paid advertising
  • Track, implement and report on campaign conversion funnels.
  • Manage the campaign budget to meet objectives
  • Strategize and implement remarketing campaigns
  • Create, manage and optimize campaigns that drive qualified leads to the website
  • Conduct keyword research and create and refine lists of targeted search terms
  • Establishing bidding strategies based on business goals and targets
  • Continually optimiSe ad text as necessary
  • Analyze the performance of PPC campaigns on a cost per conversion basis and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Monthly PPC performance reporting
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication on all levels and both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical and technical abilities
  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organised and multi-tasker
  • Results and solutions orientated
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail, methodical and precise
  • Up to date with changes/advancements in the industry
  • Strong evaluative and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage a number of campaigns at the same time
