Digital content producers generate, curate and distribute digital content in Primedia Broadcasting web and social platforms with the purpose of deepening and extending the listeners’ relationship with the stations and our clients.Job description
- Design and execute client campaigns across Primedia Broadcasting platforms
- Strategize campaigns ensuring coherence across multiple platforms/ brands
- Provide editorially sound written content optimized for Primedia Broadcasting platforms
- Oversee creation of digital content for campaigns – audio, video, design
- Based on analytics and other data insights, adapt digital tools to ensure the best results and maximum exposure
- Manage engagement with the audience
- Provide digital support to station campaigns where appropriate
- Support other departments in Primedia Broadcasting with digital strategy of their campaigns
- Collaborate with external agencies (when used by clients) when creating campaign content
- Direct the creation of unique content (infographics; stories, pictures, video pieces) in line with the campaign strategy
- Identify content of relevance that can be leveraged across stations in digital
- Identify relevant content that could be used by the stations in daily programming
- Monitor online trends and incorporate according to Stations’ Strategy and Values
- Contribute insights for post campaign reports
- Build brand ambassadors within the Primedia Broadcasting and the individual stations
- Abide by the principles of Primedia Broadcasting’s Values in all work and business relationships and ensure that digital platforms are leveraged according to these
- Journalism or digital marketing qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing/ content creation
- Social media strategy and marketing experience
- Digital copywriting experience
- Project Management experience would be an advantage
- Experience working with digital graphics or audio for digital use would be an advantage
- Experience working with video for digital platforms would be an advantage.
- High level English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conceptualise creative, digital campaigns for stations and clients.
- Ability to pitch creative digital content ideas and deliver on them efficiently.
- Ability to translate radio content for digital platforms.
- Ability to create or direct the creation of digital content for use across different mediums including audio, articles and video.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Basic video and audio editing and recording skills would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as with others in a team
- Curious, energetic and creative with a flair for storytelling
- Passionate about digital, social media, multi-platform technologies
- Able to work on multiple campaigns, under extreme pressure, sometimes after hours
- Trend spotter
